Total Loss
Vehicle uneconomic or unsafe to repair.
A total loss occurs when the cost of repair, plus any salvage value, exceeds the pre-accident value of the vehicle. Total losses are categorised A, B, S or N under the ABI Code of Practice depending on damage severity.
