Pro Touch Accident Repair Centre is on Cranes Close in Basildon, SS14 3JB, a couple of minutes from Cranes Farm Road and straight off the A127. Most of our work comes from within ten miles.

Towns we cover

Pitsea and Vange. Ten minutes down the A13. Car park knocks and low speed shunts on the Pitsea roundabouts make up a good share of what we see.

Wickford. Twenty minutes north. Plenty of commuter cars picking up damage on the A132 and the station car parks.

Laindon and Langdon Hills. On our doorstep. Collection is usually same day.

Billericay. A premium car town, so a lot of pearl and metallic paintwork, diamond cut alloys and lease returns.

Rayleigh, Benfleet and Canvey. Salt air off the estuary is hard on paintwork and wheel finishes, and we refurbish a lot of corroded alloys from these postcodes.

Basildon town centre, Eastgate, Fryerns, Vange and Nevendon. Everything from trolley dents to full insurance repairs.

We also take work from Brentwood, Grays, Southend and Chelmsford where drivers want a local independent rather than a network shop out of county.

Collection, delivery and recovery

If your car is drivable we will collect it and bring it back to you. If it is not, we will arrange recovery, including from the roadside on the A127 or A13. Tell us where the vehicle is and we will handle it.

How long a repair takes

• SMART repair, scuff or single scratch: same day in most cases
• Bumper repair and refinish: one to two days
• Single panel replacement and paint: two to four days
• Structural insurance repair: one to three weeks, depending on parts and authority

The honest answer is that parts availability, not workshop capacity, sets most timescales. We tell you what we know as we know it rather than guessing at the counter.
